Warren Hills DECA recognized for Thrive Level Chapter Campaigns

[Washington, NJ] – Warren Hills DECA was among 1,188 chapters that achieved Thrive Level recognition during the 2025-2026 school year and will be commended at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) held April 25-28, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to this honor, DECA has invited two Warren Hills students to participate in the DECA Emerging Leaders Series in Georgia, recognizing their leadership potential and commitment to excel.

Each fall, DECA offers four campaigns for chapters to complete as part of their program of leadership for the year. These campaigns are designed to grow membership engagement and build lasting partnerships within the school and local community. Chapters that achieve Thrive Level receive a commemorative pennant, flag and plaque. The chapters also have an opportunity to participate in ICDC. In order to receive Thrive Level recognition, the chapter completed two out of three chapter campaigns, including the community service campaign, innovations and entrepreneurship campaign, and promotional campaign. Alternatively, the chapter could have participated in the membership campaign, which challenged the chapter to attain two of three goals: recruit 20 professional members, recruit 20 alumni members or increase student membership by 20 more members from the previous school year. The WH DECA members participated in completing three of the four campaigns offered: the promotional, community service and innovations + entrepreneurship campaigns.

The Warren Hills DECA President, Keyli Berzoza spearheaded the campaigns while all members contributed to the Thrive recognition: Druelz Arce, Saulo Arce Zamora, Ryan Benbara, Buzzby Berzon, Keyli Berzoza, Nate Bigelow, Nyah Brown, Mia Cosme, John Decker, Dylan Delacruz, Alanis Diaz, Zyierra Dozier, Charlotte Gabor, Vince Giantesano, Matt Hardy, Timothy Hatiba, Filip Knezevic, Matt Kuruc , Sophia Longa, Evan Marques, Timothy Meyko, Alex Ortiz, Alexis Palma, Ethan Perkins, Caiden Pierre-Louis, Gianna Plesh, Amy Rosillo, Rebecca Rush, Dehlia Shamy, Annmarie Solima, Henrik Szopinski, Brooke Taylor, Blake Tomosieski, George Vouloumanos, Jonathan West, Brennan Winters, and Anna Zukowski.
