AP Testing Information

 

Hello 2026–2027 AP Students and Parents,

You are receiving this message because your child is enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) course. Please read the information below regarding AP Exam registration. AP Exams will be administered in May 2027. 

You can register for exams during the registration window, September 21st - October 21st, without incurring a late fee.

Please follow the instructions below to complete your AP Exam registration and payment:

Step 1: Create or Verify Your College Board Account
You must have a College Board account. For many of you, you may already have one. The same College Board account login is used for the PSAT, SAT, and AP programs, so if you have ever created an account for one of these, please log in using your existing account. DO NOT create a second account, as this could prevent your SAT or AP scores from being properly connected and sent to the correct colleges.

You can create an account or verify your existing account at www.collegeboard.org.

Step 2: Join Your AP Classroom
Sign in to AP Classroom at: https://myap.collegeboard.org/login

If you have not yet joined AP Classroom for your course(s), please ask your AP teacher for the Join Code. Click the “Join a Course” button, enter the Join Code provided by your teacher, confirm the course is correct, and join. You may also watch this video for assistance.

What is a Join Code?
Your AP Join Code is NOT the same as your Google Classroom code. You should not be on Google Classroom to complete these steps. You need to be logged into your College Board account, and your AP teacher will provide the appropriate Join Code. Each AP course has its own unique code.

If you are NOT planning on taking the AP Exam:
Please email braceye@warrenhills.org to notify us that you will NOT be taking the 2027 AP Exam. Include your name and AP course name in your email.

If you ARE planning on taking an AP Exam:
Move to Step 3 for payment information.

Step 3: Pay for Your AP Exam(s)
Please follow this link to pay for each AP Exam you would like to take: http://aptsusa.com/warrenhills

The cost of each exam is $99. Students can begin purchasing their exams during the registration window, September 21st - October 21st, through APTS.

All payments MUST be received by October 21st. 

If you are having difficulty paying for your AP Exam, please contact Mrs. Hough (houghc@warrenhills.org) and Mrs. Bracey (braceye@warrenhills.org).

All AP students must complete ALL of these steps by October 21st. Any student who has not submitted payment to APTS by this deadline will automatically have their MyAP Exam Registration status changed to “Not Registered for Exam,” and the exam will not be ordered.

Important Reminder: Per district policy, students no longer receive reimbursements for AP Exam scores.
