Blue Streak "Wall of Fame"

HISTORY
The "Blue Streak Wall of Fame" was established to recognize the outstanding achievements of individuals from Washington and Warren Hills Regional High Schools for their athletic accomplishments and contributions.

The concept of the Blue Streak Wall of Fame was introduced to the Warren Hills Administration and Board of Education in March of 1998 by the district's Athletic Director, Nick Holgash. Under his direction, a committee of eleven community members was selected to help develop a Wall of Fame Constitution and to then serve as the selection committee. The Board of Education supported and approved the athletic director's Wall of Fame concept and provided the selection committee the opportunity to develop guidelines for the selection process.  After numerous meetings, the committee was able to develop a constitution.   The first formal induction ceremony was held on March 26, 2000.

It is the hope of the Warren Hills athletic community that friends and family of any deserving and qualifying candidate will take the time in the near future to submit an application for consideration in this elite group. Ultimately, the Blue Streak Wall of Fame will become an important tradition of both the community and school.
